📜 EXPERIENTIAL PLATFORM & EVENT TERMS

Terms of Use

Effective Date: August 2026 • Governing the Space-Map Booth, AI Agent Companion, and DMAP DYC 2026 Digital Platforms

🌌

1. Nature of the Space-Map Experience & Disclaimer

The Intergalactic Archetype Sync booth experience (/space-map) uses real-time facial geometric proportions as playful inputs into a fictional gamified universe inspired by historical physiognomy models and the four temperaments.

⚠️ Important Notice: Historical physiognomy is not scientifically accepted as a method for determining personality, compatibility, skill, or human ability. All archetype titles, game stats (Thruster Output, Navigation Lock, Rift Response), and Partner Sync Scores are purely fictional and created for storytelling, entertainment, and team icebreaker purposes only. They have no bearing on official competition judging or scoring.

2. Camera Access & Biometric Integrity

By stepping up to the Space-Map scanner and consenting to the scan, you grant permission for the application to access your camera stream solely during the active session.

  • You agree that the camera stream will be evaluated client-side to calculate neutral geometric proportions.
  • No facial photos, videos, or raw landmark coordinates are stored, saved, or uploaded to any permanent storage.
  • You may cancel or reset the scan at any point by pressing the on-screen reset button or pressing the R key.
🤖

3. AI Agent Companion Usage Guidelines

The Agent Companion (/agent) is provided to assist participants with concept brainstorming, YouTube Shorts script outlines, and event orientation.

When interacting with the AI Agent, you agree not to submit:

  • Abusive, defamatory, harassing, or sexually explicit content.
  • Malicious prompt injections intended to bypass security guardrails.
  • Confidential personal identifiable information (PII) or third-party proprietary trade secrets.
💡

4. Intellectual Property & Creator Ownership

You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of your creations. All scripts, video shorts, prototypes, and pitch decks created by competing teams remain the exclusive property of the participants and their respective creators.

The DMAP Digital Young Creators organizing team is granted a non-exclusive license to showcase competition entries and highlight clips during the award gala and post-event recap reels.

🤝

5. Code of Conduct & Fair Play

All participants, mentors, and attendees agree to maintain a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive environment throughout the hackathon and exhibition. Any form of harassment, unauthorized equipment tampering, or academic dishonesty may result in immediate disqualification.
